How to Optimize Your Slow PC? – STOP! For Beginner’s Only!

As you know how annoying it can get when your PC is slow and it takes infinite time to run the easiest tasks. So, there are several ways to optimize the speed of your slow PC.

Disable transparency effects:

These additional effects look imposing but slow down your PC. Thus, 

  • Desktop right-click
  • Personalize
  • Colors
  • Turn off the option of transparency effects.

Disable startup programs:

Several programs run at startup and slow your PC. Thus, 

  • Right-click on the Start button.
  • Click “Task Manager” and  “Startup”.
  • Disable unwanted programs.

Disable unnecessary services:

Some services are of no use in windows. Thus,

  • Right-click on the Start button.
  • Click the “Task Manager” and “Services”.
  • “Stop” desirable services by right-click.

Disable animations:

Animations act as the burden on the CPU. Thus,

  • Select “System”.
  • Click the “Advanced system settings” and “Advanced” tab.
  • Click the button “Settings”, which is under “performance” and “Adjust the best performance”. You can turn-off each effect manually.
  • Secondly, move to settings to show off animations.

Uninstall useless programs:

  • Right-click on the Start button.
  • Select undesirable software after clicking the “Programs and features”, and then uninstall these.

Perform cleanup on a regular basis:

One of the built-in tools in your windows is disk cleanup to remove the unnecessary files from your PC.

Run one anti-virus program:

Running quite one anti-virus program may bog down your PC. The Windows Action Center gives you a notification if you are using two or quite two anti-virus programs.
